The starting point
The University of Burgos, with 13 buildings and a community of more than 9.000 people, managed emergency communication in a traditional way: manual calls to several responsible persons and scattered procedures in different autoprotection plans. This slowed down the response and burdened the service staff with a critical task in moments of crisis.
