RISKLESS INTEGRAL, S.L. wants www.rklves.com to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever their abilities and whatever technology they browse with.
This statement is voluntary. Real Decreto 1112/2018 (Spain’s accessibility regulation for public sector websites and mobile applications) binds the public sector, and RKL Integral is a private company. We publish it because we work with hospitals, ports, universities and public authorities, and because we think that anyone about to trust us with a critical procedure deserves to know what state our own website is in.
How far it goes
It applies to www.rklves.com in its four languages — Spanish, English, Basque and Catalan — including the legal pages and the demo request form. The Catalan version was added on 21 September 2026, after the review this statement describes: it shares templates and components with the others, but it has not yet been reviewed separately.
It does not cover the VES platform, which is a different product with its own development cycle and its own testing.
Compliance status
This site is partially compliant with the UNE-EN 301549:2022 standard, which points to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1, Level AA. Partially compliant means that it meets most of the requirements but not all of them, and below we say exactly which ones it does not.
Non-accessible content
One shortcoming remains, in a third-party component that we do not control directly. It has been checked on the published site.
Cookie banner
The Escape key does not close the banner, its close button does not respond to the space bar — only to Enter — and, while it is open, the tab key goes round and round its seven elements with no way out to the rest of the page.
The banner is generated by a third-party component, which limits how fast we can move. We are assessing whether it can be fixed through configuration or whether it has to be replaced.
Disproportionate burden
We do not claim disproportionate burden on any point. The shortcoming can be fixed, although the timing does not depend on us alone: it is in a third-party component, which may have to be replaced.
Content outside the scope
The PDF documents you can download from the site — product sheets and marketing material — may not meet every requirement. If you need one in an accessible format, ask us and we will provide it.
What we did verify
Saying only what fails gives an incomplete picture, so we also publish what was checked and found correct, measured on the same fifteen pages:
- Alternative text: 268 images reviewed, none without a text alternative.
- Keyboard navigation: 46 tab stops on the home page, all with visible focus, in a logical order and with no traps you cannot get out of.
- Links: none of the “read more” or “here” kind; no link or button without a name.
- Contrast: 930 combinations of text and background measured on the actual composition, not on the declared colour. Body text reaches 7:1 and footer text 5.8:1.
- Structure: a skip to content link, a single main block per page, labelled menus, the language correctly declared in the three languages and no repeated identifier.
- Motion: the system’s reduced motion preference is respected in every animation.
- Zoom: the page reflows down to 320 pixels wide without forcing you to scroll horizontally.
Recently fixed
On 17 September 2026, as a result of the review behind this statement, eight of the ten shortcomings found were fixed:
- The “approximate client volume” group on the form could not be filled in without a mouse: the tab key skipped it entirely. It is now keyboard accessible.
- The legal notice on the anti-spam check was illegible, with a contrast of 1.01:1 against the form background. It can now be read.
- The arithmetic question has been removed from the demo form, where it was an obstacle for people with a calculation disability. The protection against automated submissions no longer asks you to solve anything.
- The logo carousel now has a pause button, and it stays paused until you press it again. Before, it only stopped while the mouse was over it.
- The skip in the heading hierarchy on twelve pages has been fixed. It came from a shared template, so a single change resolved it.
- The focus indicator on the dropdown fields goes from 1.6:1 to a solid outline that shows up both on a light background and on the dark form at the top of the site.
- The headline on the projects page goes from 2.87:1 to 4.81:1, measured against the actual photograph behind it.
- When you filter projects, the number of results is announced to screen readers, not only shown on screen.
Besides that, the link to the Esquema Nacional de Seguridad (Spain’s National Security Framework) certificate used to be announced only as “link, ens”; it now says what the document is, that it is a PDF and that it opens in another window.
On 21 September 2026 the personalisation tool — the one that increases text size and adjusts contrast — was also fixed; it was one of the two shortcomings still open. Its interface now appears in the language of the page in all four versions, its screen reader labels are translated, and the button that opens it says whether the panel is open or closed.
How this statement was prepared
Prepared in September 2026 by self-assessment, after the complete redesign of the site. It replaces an earlier version from June 2025 that relied on a generic template and did not reflect the real state of the site.
The review was carried out with automated tools on the published site and with manual element-by-element checking of every finding, across fifteen pages and in the three languages, at widths of 320, 390 and 1440 pixels.

From here on we will review accessibility every six months and after every significant template change. We do not say “annually” because this site changes faster than that, and we did not want to commit to a cadence that does not hold up. The next review is scheduled for March 2027.
